Varieties: Encruzado 45%, Barcelo 40%, Rabo de Ovelha 10%, Malvasia Fina 5%.
Tasting Note: The wine is light gold in colour with aromas of citrus fruit and stone fruit, where grapefruit, orange blossom, peach and light green mango stand out, together with a flinty mineral note, which gives it complexity. On the palate the wine is dry, with crisp natural acidity and good intensity. Prominent stone fruit and tropical fruit notes that are persistent and layered. Pair with shellfish, oysters, chicken breast and salads. Aged for 4 months in stainless steel tanks on the fine lees.
Technical: Alcohol: 13% alc./vol.
Notes: This small family run estate uses no oak or added yeasts with a minimalist approach in the cellar.
