Varieties: Malvasia Fina, Cerceal, Gouveio Real, Touriga Franca
Tasting Note: Made from local varieties at high altitude, this traditional method sparkling wine is one of Portugal's finest. It is pale lemon in colour with green apple aromas and a crisp palate of stonefruit, baked apples and followed by a biscuit like finish. The bubbles are fine and persistent, with with good acidity but layered mouthfeel, thanks to the 3 years of bottle ageing on the lees before disgorgement. A great aperitif sparkler or pair with shellfish.
